Founders Rich & Suzanne Hood came up with this creatively unique idea for folks in the eastern shore area and it is now one of the highlights to the town of Easton’s eventful night. The crab was made by Suzanne Hood, with the help of locals, out of metal and paper mache, while the hoisting & lowering device was made by Rich Hood, himself.
To be sure that no one would have to miss the amazing hand-made crab dropping, there is an “early midnight” at 9pm for the kids, and a midnight drop for everyone else. The Hoods welcome everyone to join them for this spectacular event – the Crab Drop is something you’ll want to see!
